Responsibility
- Assist surgeons during LASIK and Cataract procedures by preparing and maintaining a sterile surgical field.
- Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are properly sterilized, organized, and ready for use.
- Monitor and anticipate the needs of the surgical team, passing instruments and supplies efficiently.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including assessments, education, and recovery monitoring.
- Document all procedures, patient responses, and surgical details accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest ophthalmic surgical techniques and best practices in OT nursing.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with specialization or experience in Operating Theatre (OT) or Scrub Nursing.
- Prior experience in ophthalmic surgery (LASIK/Cataract) is a plus, but training is provided for motivated candidates.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and aseptic practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and handle emergency situations calmly.
- Fresh graduates are welcomeâwe provide on-the-job training and mentorship.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is beneficial but not required.
