Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments to monitor health status and response to oncology treatments.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other specialized treatments under the supervision of oncologists.
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, pharmacists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care strategies to improve quality of life.
- Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and adverse reactions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and oncology-specific guidelines.
- Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated on the latest advancements in oncology nursing.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1-2 years in an oncology unit.
- Valid nursing license in Indonesia (STR) or eligibility to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (S.Kep) or equivalent; postgraduate certification in oncology nursing is a plus.
- Strong clinical skills in administering chemotherapy, managing central lines, and handling oncology-specific emergencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and families.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and empathy.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and oncology-specific software.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
