Responsibility
- Provide exceptional table service during hotel events, including weddings, conferences, and private functions.
- Set up and arrange tables, chairs, linens, and tableware according to event specifications.
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure guests’ needs are anticipated and met with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to ensure timely service and smooth event flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after events.
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests with discretion and a problem-solving approach.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a waiter or in a similar hospitality role (hotel, restaurant, or event catering preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as events require.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/carry trays or equipment (up to 10 kg).
- Willingness to undergo training and adapt to hotel-specific service protocols.
