Responsibility
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
- Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications using our property management system (PMS) with accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with diplomacy and urgency, ensuring prompt resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure rooms are ready and guest needs are met.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records of guest transactions and folios.
- Provide local recommendations, arrange transportation, and assist with tour bookings to enhance the guest experience.
- Monitor and manage room availability, overbookings, and walk-ins to optimize occupancy and revenue.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area, adhering to brand standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role, preferably in hospitality or luxury resorts.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Japanese, or Russian) are a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, Cloudbeds, or similar.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail, especially when handling guest information and payments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the hospitality industry.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
