Responsibility
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and cash counts at designated store locations.
- Perform compliance audits to ensure adherence to 7-Eleven standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Verify financial documentation and reconcile discrepancies in retail transactions.
- Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings and providing actionable recommendations for management.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal control measures.
- Conduct surprise inspections to ensure operational transparency and reduce shrinkage.
- Communicate audit observations clearly to store personnel and management.
- Assist in ad-hoc internal audit projects as assigned by the department head.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates with a strong interest in internal audit and retail operations are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willingness to travel locally within the Selangor region for store visits.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet strict deadlines.
- Understanding of retail accounting principles is an added advantage.
