As an Internal Audit Officer, you will gain hands-on experience in retail compliance, financial reporting, and operational auditing. Responsibility

  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and cash counts at designated store locations.
  • Perform compliance audits to ensure adherence to 7-Eleven standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Verify financial documentation and reconcile discrepancies in retail transactions.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings and providing actionable recommendations for management.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal control measures.
  • Conduct surprise inspections to ensure operational transparency and reduce shrinkage.
  • Communicate audit observations clearly to store personnel and management.
  • Assist in ad-hoc internal audit projects as assigned by the department head.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates with a strong interest in internal audit and retail operations are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Willingness to travel locally within the Selangor region for store visits.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet strict deadlines.
  • Understanding of retail accounting principles is an added advantage.
