Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each clientâs needs and goals.
- Design and implement therapeutic interventions to improve patientsâ motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, physiotherapists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques, home modifications, and assistive devices to enhance independence.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide rehabilitation services for individuals with physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest occupational therapy research and best practices to deliver evidence-based care.
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about occupational therapy and its benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license or registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a hospital, rehabilitation center, or community setting.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, assistive technologies, and adaptive equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach with a commitment to ethical practice.
- Proficiency in English and Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) is highly desirable.
