Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify physical, cognitive, and emotional limitations affecting daily living activities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patientās needs, goals, and medical history.
- Provide hands-on therapy, including adaptive techniques, exercises, and assistive device training to improve motor skills and independence.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and progress tracking.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and long-term management of conditions.
- Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and adjustments to care plans in compliance with medical center protocols.
- Stay current with advancements in occupational therapy by participating in continuing education and professional development.
- Advocate for patient needs and contribute to team discussions on improving rehabilitative services.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution; Masterās degree is a plus.
- Valid Indonesian Occupational Therapy license or eligibility for licensure in Bali.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital, rehabilitation center, or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomical, physiological, and psychological principles related to occupational therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Proficiency in using therapeutic equipment and assistive technologies (e.g., wheelchairs, ADLs tools).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is highly advantageous.
