Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve clients' functional abilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, physiotherapists, and educators, to ensure integrated care.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support clients' development and independence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client sessions and progress reports.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license or certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Indonesia or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental, physical, or cognitive challenges.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to develop and implement creative and effective therapeutic interventions.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive equipment is a plus.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and adherence to ethical standards.
