Responsibility
- Perform obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations with precision and care, adhering to established protocols.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring it meets safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and ensuring their comfort.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and support patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data in compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and assess the condition of pregnant patients during imaging procedures, prioritizing their safety and well-being.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiologic technology and obstetric imaging techniques.
- Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of imaging accuracy and patient care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field; certification as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in obstetric and gynecological radiology, with a strong background in ultrasound imaging.
- Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment, including ultrasound machines, and interpreting imaging results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient care standards in obstetric imaging.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
