This role offers a unique 4-day work week with 12-hour shifts, allowing you more time to recharge while providing high-quality care to our residents.
In this position, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of the elderly. You will be responsible for clinical assessments, medication administration, and maintaining the highest standards of nursing care. Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and monitor the health status of residents.
- Administer medication and perform clinical procedures in accordance with nursing protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to improve the quality of life for residents.
- Supervise nursing assistants and junior staff to ensure consistent care delivery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with families, doctors, and allied health professionals.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control within the facility.
Qualifications
- Valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration as a Staff Nurse.
- Possess at least a Diploma in Nursing or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a nursing home or geriatric care setting is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to elderly care.
- Able to commit to a 4-day work week on a 12-hour shift roster.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
