Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of nurses and healthcare staff in the Labour & Delivery Ward, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, protocols, and procedures in alignment with SNB and international healthcare standards.
- Monitor and improve clinical performance metrics, including patient satisfaction, infection control, and delivery outcomes.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and pediatricians to coordinate seamless, patient-centered care during labour, delivery, and postpartum.
- Conduct regular training and professional development programs for nursing staff to enhance skills and knowledge in maternal and neonatal care.
- Manage ward operations, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budget oversight, to optimize efficiency and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including documentation, audits, and accreditation processes.
- Act as a liaison between medical staff, patients, and families, providing support and clear communication during critical moments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or equivalent) with a valid SNB registration or eligibility for licensure in Indonesia.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Labour & Delivery, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and manage a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- In-depth knowledge of obstetric nursing, neonatal care, and emergency protocols in a high-volume delivery setting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, quality assurance, and patient safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional proficiency in Indonesian is a plus).
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, make critical decisions, and adapt to fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
