This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation in new product introduction (NPI) while collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring cutting-edge solutions to market.

As an NPI Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the entire product development lifecycle—from concept to commercialization. You’ll work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects, optimize manufacturing processes, and resolve technical challenges. Your expertise in vendor development, defect analysis, and corrective actions will be critical in maintaining high-quality standards and accelerating time-to-market for new products.

This role offers a dynamic work environment where your problem-solving skills and engineering acumen will directly impact the success of our global projects. If you’re passionate about innovation, thrive in collaborative settings, and want to grow your career with a Fortune 500 company, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibility

  • Lead and manage new product introduction (NPI) projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, quality, and procurement) to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Source and develop raw material components, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate contracts to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
  • Conduct defect analysis and root cause investigations for vendor-related issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product reliability.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including project reports, specifications, and compliance records.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in NPI, product development, or manufacturing engineering, preferably in the electronics or automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of vendor management, supplier development, and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in defect analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action implementation.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949), and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
