Responsibility
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) processes from concept to mass production, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, design, and manufacturing teams to optimize product designs for manufacturability (DFM) and cost efficiency.
- Develop and implement test protocols, validation plans, and first-article inspections (FAI) to guarantee product reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues during pilot runs and ramp-up phases.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance production efficiency and reduce defects.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials, tools, and components while maintaining cost competitiveness.
- Document and maintain technical specifications, BOMs, and process workflows for compliance and traceability.
- Provide on-site operational support during critical production phases to ensure smooth execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in NPI, product engineering, or manufacturing within the EMS or electronics industry.
- Proven track record in DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFA (Design for Assembly), and process validation.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and regulatory compliance (e.g., UL, CE, RoHS).
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), PLM systems, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Experience working in a multinational or high-volume manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Indonesian) are advantageous.
