Responsibility
- Lead and coordinate the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) process, from prototyping to full-scale production.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
- Develop and execute process validation plans, including IQ/OQ/PQ, to meet industry and regulatory standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks in production through FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and root cause analysis.
- Optimize production workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve yield.
- Create and maintain comprehensive NPI documentation, including BOMs, work instructions, and test protocols.
- Monitor and report on NPI project timelines, budgets, and KPIs to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to refine existing processes and products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering, or process development, preferably in a high-tech or precision engineering environment.
- Proven track record of successfully launching new products into mass production.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and validation methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and statistical tools (Minitab, JMP).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
