As a Non-Food Retail Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of non-food departments, including household goods, electronics, apparel, and other merchandise. Your role will involve strategic planning, inventory management, team leadership, and customer engagement to maximize profitability and operational efficiency. Responsibility

  • Oversee daily operations of non-food retail departments, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to optimize product placement, visibility, and sales performance.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, customer satisfaction, and inventory turnover, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing and visual merchandising teams to create engaging in-store promotions and displays.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain a positive brand image.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in retail operations, supermarket, department store, or non-food merchandise management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and KPIs to make informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required by the retail industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is a plus.
