Responsibility
- Perform and interpret EEG (Electroencephalogram), EMG (Electromyography), and other neurodiagnostic tests with precision and accuracy.
- Collaborate with neurologists and healthcare teams to analyze test results and develop patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in neurodiagnostic procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate neurodiagnostic equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Train and mentor junior technologists and support staff on best practices in neurodiagnostic testing.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new neurodiagnostic technologies and methodologies.
- Document patient data, test results, and clinical observations in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in neurodiagnostics and apply evidence-based practices in daily operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology, Neuroscience, or a related field. Certification in EEG or EMG is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Neuro Technologist or in a similar role within a clinical or hospital setting.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting neurodiagnostic equipment, including EEG and EMG machines.
- Strong understanding of neurological disorders, neuroanatomy, and neurophysiology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation standards.
