Responsibility
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
- Develop and enforce network security policies and protocols to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior network engineers and IT staff.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of network systems to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network management and security.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and training purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in network administration or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and security measures (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN, Firewalls, LAN/WAN).
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and software (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
