Responsibility
- Perform physical configuration, installation, and maintenance of network hardware, including routers, switches, and telecom equipment.
- Monitor network utilization, performance metrics, and bandwidth to identify and resolve bottlenecks or outages.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure equipment, manage service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure timely deliveries.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues, latency problems, and hardware failures using diagnostic tools and protocols (e.g., ping, traceroute, SNMP).
- Implement security best practices for network access, firewalls, and VPN configurations to safeguard data integrity.
- Document network topologies, configurations, and incident reports for compliance and future reference.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to assess network requirements and recommend scalable solutions.
- Provide on-call support for critical network incidents outside standard business hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in network support, telecommunications, or IT infrastructure roles.
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP) and telecom systems (VoIP, SIP, fiber optics).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei networking devices and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in time-sensitive situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL are a plus.
- Willingness to travel to client sites across Bali as needed.
