Join Cyber Sinergi Indonesia as a Network Security Engineer and play a pivotal role in safeguarding enterprise networks against evolving cyber threats. Based in Bali, you will specialize in managing, monitoring, and optimizing next-generation firewalls, including Palo Alto, Fortigate, and Checkpoint solutions, to ensure robust security posture for our clients.
This contract position offers a competitive salary (IDR 7.5M–11M/month) and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technologies in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Responsibility
- Manage, configure, and monitor Palo Alto, Fortigate, and Checkpoint firewalls to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Design and implement network security policies, rules, and access controls in alignment with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Respond to security incidents, investigate breaches, and provide detailed root-cause analysis and remediation reports.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security solutions into existing network infrastructures.
- Automate security workflows using scripts (Python, Bash) or SIEM tools to improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and recommend proactive measures to enhance security posture.
- Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and end-users on security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in network security, with hands-on expertise in Palo Alto, Fortigate, or Checkpoint firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation principles.
- Certifications such as CCNA Security, PCNSE, NSE, or CISSP are highly advantageous.
- Experience with security tools like Wireshark, Snort, or SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation and log analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in high-stakes environments.
- Fluent in English with strong communication and documentation skills.
