Responsibility
- Coordinate and monitor flight operations to ensure on-time departures and arrivals for export shipments.
- Prepare, verify, and manage shipment documentation (e.g., air waybills, customs forms) in compliance with international regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for airline communication, resolving discrepancies and confirming flight details.
- Conduct tracing and tracking of shipments, proactively addressing delays or issues to minimize disruptions.
- Handle Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments in accordance with IATA and DHL safety protocols.
- Update and maintain operational systems (e.g., tracking databases, flight manifests) with accurate, real-time data.
- Collaborate with customs, warehousing, and delivery teams to streamline end-to-end logistics processes.
- Generate reports and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or airline operations (preferably in export/import).
- Strong knowledge of IATA regulations, customs procedures, and dangerous goods handling (DG certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., DHL systems, cargo management tools) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment, including shift work if required.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with incoterms, HS codes, and international shipping documentation.
