Responsibility
- Coordinate and supervise daily forwarding operations, including shipment scheduling, documentation, and customs clearance.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and clients to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Monitor and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, invoices, packing lists) in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Track shipments in real-time, resolve delays or issues, and provide proactive updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational metrics using ERP or logistics software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and implement best practices in supply chain management.
- Ensure adherence to safety, security, and environmental standards in all forwarding activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Freight Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills in English.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Bali’s logistics infrastructure and regional trade routes is a plus.
- Certifications in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) are advantageous.
