Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage air freight shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Process and verify export documentation, including customs forms, invoices, and packing lists.
- Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to resolve shipment delays or issues.
- Monitor and track shipments in real-time, providing proactive updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Optimize routing and consolidation strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Handle urgent or high-priority shipments with meticulous attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including shipping costs, delivery times, and client communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline logistics workflows and enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in air freight, export logistics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and IATA standards.
- Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, or freight management tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and a focus on accuracy.
- Familiarity with incoterms, HS codes, and export compliance is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
