Responsibility
- Develop and deliver engaging, inquiry-based science lessons aligned with the curriculum to students of various age groups.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Utilize diverse teaching methodologies and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of academic performance.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student development and school initiatives.
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the science curriculum.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular science activities, clubs, or projects to enhance student learning and engagement.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students within the classroom and during science experiments or field trips.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Science Education, or a closely related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification or certification (e.g., PGCE, State Teaching License).
- Native English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of full-time teaching experience in Science, preferably in an international school setting.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans and manage a diverse classroom.
- Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., Cambridge, IB, IPC) is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with students.
