Based in one of Bali’s dynamic business hubs—Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung—you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design tailored logistics solutions that meet client needs while ensuring profitability and operational excellence. Responsibility
- Develop and execute a national business development strategy to expand Kuehne & Nagel’s contract logistics portfolio in Indonesia, with a focus on Bali and key economic zones.
- Identify, pursue, and close high-value deals with multinational corporations, local enterprises, and e-commerce leaders requiring warehousing, distribution, and value-added services.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the contract logistics sector.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and legal teams to structure commercially viable proposals, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, procurement teams, and decision-makers to position Kuehne & Nagel as the preferred logistics partner.
- Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding annual sales targets through proactive lead generation, pipeline management, and negotiation.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes, customs requirements, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in contract logistics business development, sales, or key account management, preferably in Indonesia or Southeast Asia.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment, with experience in complex deal structuring and contract negotiations.
- Deep understanding of contract logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and last-mile delivery.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English (mandatory) and Bahasa Indonesia (highly preferred).
- Strong analytical and financial acumen to evaluate ROI, pricing models, and commercial viability of proposals.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Indonesia and occasionally internationally for client meetings and industry events.
