Are you a seasoned Murex professional looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced Treasury environment? Oxydata Software is currently seeking a highly skilled Murex Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between complex business requirements and robust technical solutions within the Treasury domain.
In this capacity, you will be responsible for translating business needs into functional specifications, managing Murex platform enhancements, and ensuring seamless integration across various treasury front-to-back office workflows. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to deliver high-performance solutions that drive operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who possesses deep domain knowledge of the Murex platform, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex project deliverables in a high-pressure environment.
Responsibility
- Analyze and document complex business requirements within the Treasury and Capital Markets domain.
- Configure and customize the Murex platform (v3.1/MX.3) to meet specific business and regulatory objectives.
- Act as the primary bridge between front, middle, and back-office users and the technical development team.
- Perform comprehensive system testing, including UAT, regression testing, and troubleshooting of production issues.
- Develop detailed functional specification documents (FSD) and process workflows.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage project lifecycles and milestone delivery.
- Provide expert-level support and training to end-users on new platform features and functionalities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst specifically working with the Murex (MX.3) system.
- Strong knowledge of Treasury business processes, including trade lifecycle, derivatives, risk management, and settlement.
- Proven expertise in SQL and basic understanding of database structures for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and requirements gathering in a banking or financial services environment.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced contract environment and adapt quickly to shifting business priorities.
