Responsibility
- Assist the Department Head in the formulation and implementation of departmental policies, programs, and strategic goals.
- Supervise daily administrative operations and ensure the efficient allocation of departmental resources.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, budget proposals, and policy recommendations for the municipal executive.
- Facilitate inter-departmental coordination to streamline public service delivery and local government initiatives.
- Oversee departmental personnel performance, provide professional mentorship, and ensure compliance with civil service guidelines.
- Represent the department in official meetings, local government council sessions, and community stakeholder consultations.
- Maintain systematic records and documentation for auditing and accountability purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Management, Law, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Professional Civil Service Eligibility (Career Service Professional) or equivalent.
- At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in local government operations or public sector management.
- Strong understanding of the Local Government Code of 1991 and relevant administrative laws.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Filipino, with the ability to draft official correspondence.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on public service ethics and community engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government-specific management information systems.
