Responsibility
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and repair faults in building systems, equipment, and machinery, minimizing downtime and disruption.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and recommend proactive solutions.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring timely resolution and tenant satisfaction.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to coordinate specialized repairs or installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and inventory of spare parts.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment for all occupants.
- Assist in the implementation of energy-efficient practices and sustainability initiatives within the facilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Maintenance Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in commercial or hospitality settings.
- Strong technical skills in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building repairs.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
