Responsibility
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including procurement, performance evaluation, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues and restore normal operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with property management teams to address tenant concerns and enhance overall satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with tenants, vendors, and internal teams.
- Familiarity with local regulations and compliance standards related to building operations and safety.
- Proficiency in facility management software and tools is a plus.
