Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for MRO categories, including indirect materials, tools, and maintenance services.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-potential suppliers to expand the vendor base and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, finance) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, cost drivers, and supplier performance to recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement cost-saving programs through spend analysis, demand aggregation, and supplier consolidation.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive supplier relationship management (SRM) to foster long-term partnerships and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or CIPS certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years specializing in MRO categories.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost reduction in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of MRO suppliers (e.g., KVC, Misumi, MR.DIY, Fastenal) and global procurement best practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a problem-solving mindset.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are advantageous.
