Responsibility
- Develop, review, and implement mould modification plans to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
- Oversee the mould repair process, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and analyze mould performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, QA, R&D) to troubleshoot mould-related issues and propose corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for mould failures and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate documentation of mould specifications, modifications, and repair histories.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in moulding engineering to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in all moulding operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mould design, modification, or repair within a precision manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and mould flow analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes, materials, and tooling standards.
- Hands-on experience with mould maintenance, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
