Responsibility
- Review and assess motor insurance claims to determine coverage, liability, and settlement amounts.
- Investigate claims by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and collaborating with external parties such as repair shops and legal teams.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, ensuring fair and timely resolutions while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for each claim, maintaining accurate records for auditing and compliance purposes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining claim processes, and offering guidance on next steps.
- Collaborate with underwriters, adjusters, and legal teams to resolve complex or disputed claims efficiently.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in motor insurance claims management.
- Utilize claims management software and tools to streamline processes and improve productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in motor insurance claims, underwriting, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of motor insurance policies, regulations, and claims processes in Singapore and/or Southeast Asia.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess claims accurately and fairly.
- Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting while maintaining productivity and collaboration.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are a plus.
