Responsibility
- Design and implement Montessori-based lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, following the school’s curriculum.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Observe and assess children’s development, providing personalized guidance to support their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication to discuss progress and address concerns.
- Prepare and maintain Montessori materials, ensuring the classroom is organized and resources are accessible.
- Foster a bilingual or multicultural learning experience (English/Indonesian) where applicable.
- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development to enhance teaching skills.
- Uphold the school’s values of respect, kindness, and community in all interactions with students and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Montessori certification (e.g., AMI, MCI, or equivalent) is highly preferred; candidates with early childhood education backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience teaching in a Montessori or early childhood setting (fresh graduates with strong passion may be considered).
- Fluency in English (additional Indonesian language skills are a plus).
- Deep understanding of child development principles and the ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and staff.
