Responsibility
- Oversee daily injection molding operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality control standards.
- Set up, adjust, and maintain molding machines and tooling to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
- Monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle times) to ensure consistent product quality and efficiency.
- Lead and train a team of operators, providing guidance on safety protocols, machine operation, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks to identify and resolve defects or deviations.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to implement process improvements and preventive maintenance plans.
- Maintain accurate production records, downtime logs, and performance metrics for reporting and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all molding activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in injection molding supervision or a similar leadership role in manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in operating and troubleshooting injection molding machines (e.g., hydraulic, electric, or hybrid systems).
- Strong knowledge of plastic materials, mold designs, and processing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and process documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production issues in real time.
- Leadership abilities with a focus on team development, training, and performance management.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) for effective communication with stakeholders.
