Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molds to minimize production downtime.
- Diagnose and repair mold damages, including cracks, wear, and alignment issues.
- Document all modifications, repairs, and maintenance activities for traceability and compliance.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize mold performance and extend tool life.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring mold failures and implement solutions.
- Assist in mold design reviews and provide feedback for manufacturability improvements.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in all maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on mold maintenance best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in injection mold maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mold design, tooling, and plastic injection processes.
- Proficiency in using CNC machines, grinding tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex mold issues.
- Familiarity with TQM (Total Quality Management) and Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English and Indonesian to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
