Responsibility
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining quality engineering documentation, including test reports, inspection plans, and SOPs.
- Monitor and analyze Quality, Delivery, and Cost (QDC) performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production and R&D teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for product defects or deviations.
- Conduct first-article inspections (FAI) and in-process quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Support the development of quality control (QC) processes and statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for non-conformances and propose sustainable solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of quality audits, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and customer feedback.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align quality standards with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field with at least 2 years of experience in quality assurance, product engineering, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, SPSS).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and data.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
