Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy Industrial IoT (IIoT) and Industry 4.0 solutions, including embedded systems, automation frameworks, and smart manufacturing platforms.
- Lead the integration of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and MES systems to optimize industrial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement edge computing and cloud-based IoT architectures for real-time data processing and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements, conduct system testing, and ensure seamless commissioning of projects.
- Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for industrial automation and IoT deployments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, user manuals, and compliance reports for industrial standards (e.g., ISA-95, OPC UA).
- Stay updated with emerging trends in Industry 4.0, AI-driven automation, and digital twins, and evaluate their applicability to current and future projects.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, embedded systems, or IoT development, with a focus on Industry 4.0 solutions.
- Proven expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric) and SCADA/HMI development.
- Hands-on experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, Profibus) and cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT).
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Java for embedded systems and automation scripting.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, CAN bus) and cybersecurity best practices for industrial systems.
- Experience with edge computing, digital twins, and AI/ML applications in industrial automation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are advantageous.
