Responsibility
- Develop, maintain, and optimize injection molding processes to ensure maximum productivity and consistent product quality.
- Troubleshoot molding defects, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with tool design and maintenance teams to ensure molds are maintained to the highest standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times, decrease scrap rates, and optimize material usage.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production operators and technicians on the shop floor.
- Manage the qualification and validation process for new molds, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including process parameters, engineering changes, and technical reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in injection molding or high-precision plastic manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and plastic materials.
- Proven track record in process troubleshooting and cycle time optimization.
- Strong understanding of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and SPC (Statistical Process Control).
- Proficiency in CAD software and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
