The Municipal Government of Pilar, Bataan is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Midwife I to join our healthcare team in the Ilocos Region. In this role, you will play a critical part in maternal and child health initiatives, providing high-quality care to our community members. You will work closely with medical professionals to ensure safe delivery practices, prenatal care, and family planning education.

As a Midwife I, you will facilitate essential health services, monitor patient progress, and maintain accurate clinical records in alignment with public health standards and safety protocols.
Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to expectant mothers.
- Assist in normal spontaneous deliveries and manage emergency obstetric situations under medical supervision.
- Conduct health education sessions on breastfeeding, nutrition, and maternal wellness.
- Implement and promote family planning and reproductive health programs within the community.
- Monitor and record vital signs and clinical progress of both mother and newborn.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and sterilization of medical instruments and clinic supplies.
- Collaborate with barangay health workers to facilitate community health outreach programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Midwifery or equivalent degree.
- Must be a Licensed Midwife (PRC Board Passer).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle patient consultations effectively.
- Proficiency in basic life support and maternal emergency protocols.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain meticulous health records.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care in a rural or municipal government setting.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
