Responsibility
- Execute manual test cases to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to refine requirements and test scenarios.
- Document and report bugs with clear, reproducible steps using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to contribute to Agile development processes.
- Design and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications.
- Perform regression testing to validate fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Provide timely feedback and recommendations to enhance software usability and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and collaborative development environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
