Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain calibration procedures for precision measurement instruments and equipment.
- Conduct dimensional and geometric inspections using advanced metrology tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparators, laser trackers).
- Analyze measurement data to identify trends, deviations, and root causes of quality issues.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and QA teams to ensure compliance with international standards (ISO, ASME, etc.).
- Design and optimize measurement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in manufacturing.
- Perform uncertainty analysis and validate measurement systems for traceability.
- Train and mentor staff on proper metrology techniques and best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging metrology technologies and recommend upgrades to enhance capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in metrology, quality control, or precision engineering.
- Proficiency in using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), optical measurement systems, and calibration software.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and metrology standards (ISO 9001, ISO 17025).
- Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, SPSS) and data interpretation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
