Responsibility
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of assigned public areas, including streets, parks, and drainage systems.
- Collect and segregate waste materials according to local environmental regulations.
- Assist in the beautification of public spaces through landscaping and plant maintenance.
- Report damaged infrastructure, road hazards, or sanitation issues to the supervising office immediately.
- Operate and maintain basic sanitation and cleaning tools and equipment efficiently.
- Support municipal cleanup operations and emergency response activities during inclement weather or disaster situations.
- Ensure compliance with public safety and health protocols while on duty.
Qualifications
- Educational attainment: Completion of at least Junior High School or relevant vocational training.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability in attendance and task completion.
- Ability to follow safety instructions and municipal guidelines strictly.
- Good interpersonal skills to interact professionally with community members and colleagues.
- Previous experience in waste management, custodial services, or community maintenance is an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if required by the municipal office.
