Responsibility
- Assist in analyzing and documenting existing engineering processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to gather data, conduct time studies, and propose workflow optimizations.
- Help design and test new methods, tools, or procedures to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Participate in cross-functional projects focused on automation, digitalization, or sustainability within engineering operations.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and visual aids to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Assist in the evaluation of new technologies or software tools that align with Schneider Electric’s innovation goals.
- Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and sustainability in all engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process optimization principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Python, or R is a plus).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the confidence to present ideas clearly.
- Passion for sustainability, automation, or digital transformation in industrial settings.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or project experience in engineering, manufacturing, or process improvement is advantageous.
