Responsibility
- Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Record and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Respond to emergencies and equipment failures promptly to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and process upgrades to enhance productivity.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, incidents, and maintenance logs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in chemical processing, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO) and environmental regulations in industrial settings.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and process flow diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Physical stamina to work in a plant environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting equipment.
