Join BukuWarung as a Merchant Success Executive in Bali! We’re expanding our team and looking for dynamic, results-driven professionals to drive merchant acquisition and EDC (Electronic Data Capture) adoption across Bali’s vibrant business landscape.
As a Sales Canvassing & EDC Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in onboarding new merchants, educating them on BukuWarung’s digital financial solutions, and ensuring seamless integration of our EDC systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for fresh graduates and experienced sales professionals to grow in the fintech industry while contributing to Indonesia’s digital transformation.
Based in Bali’s key commercial hubs (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung), you’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with competitive compensation, career development, and the chance to make a real impact.
Responsibility
- Identify and engage potential merchants (retailers, SMEs) to adopt BukuWarung’s digital payment and EDC solutions.
- Conduct on-site visits to demonstrate product benefits, address objections, and close deals.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly merchant acquisition and EDC activation targets.
- Provide post-sales support, including training merchants on system usage and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local campaigns and promotions.
- Maintain accurate records of merchant interactions, contracts, and performance metrics in CRM tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and BukuWarung’s product enhancements.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with merchants to drive retention and upsell opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related fields (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with digital payments, fintech, or EDC systems is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territories in Bali.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (verbal and written).
- Ownership of a motorcycle and valid driving license (for fieldwork).
