Responsibility
- Conduct on-ground sales canvassing to identify and acquire new merchants in key Bali locations (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Badung).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local business owners, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through effective prospecting, pitching, and closing techniques.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights in the Bali market.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support for acquired merchants.
- Provide exceptional customer service to merchants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, market feedback, and performance metrics.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and sales strategy discussions to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, preferably in the hospitality, retail, or F&B sectors.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business owners and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential; additional languages are a plus.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel extensively within Bali to meet with merchants and attend sales events.
- Basic understanding of digital payment solutions, POS systems, or merchant services is advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
