Responsibility

  • Identify and engage potential UMKM merchants in Bali to adopt EDC payment systems.
  • Conduct in-person visits to explain the benefits of digital payment solutions and address merchant concerns.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for new merchant acquisitions.
  • Provide hands-on support during the EDC installation and activation process.
  • Maintain accurate records of merchant interactions, follow-ups, and contract signings.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure smooth onboarding for new merchants.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes in digital payments.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with merchants to drive retention and upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or canvassing (preferably in fintech or payment solutions).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse merchant profiles.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to prospecting and closing deals.
  • Familiarity with Bali’s local business landscape and UMKM sectors is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of EDC machines and digital payment systems.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Bali to meet merchants on-site.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields is advantageous.
