In this dynamic role, you will drive the adoption of our cutting-edge Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems by acquiring and onboarding new merchants. Your mission is to expand our merchant network, ensuring businesses across Bali’s top destinations—from Canggu to Nusa Dua—can seamlessly accept digital payments and grow their operations with BukuWarung’s innovative tools.

Responsibility
- Identify and engage potential merchants in Bali’s key commercial areas (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, etc.) to adopt BukuWarung’s EDC solutions.
- Conduct on-site visits to demonstrate the benefits of EDC systems and close sales deals.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly acquisition targets for merchant sign-ups and EDC machine installations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, ensuring high satisfaction and retention rates.
- Collaborate with the internal team to streamline onboarding processes and resolve merchant inquiries.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and BukuWarung’s product updates to deliver compelling sales pitches.
- Document all sales activities, merchant feedback, and market insights in CRM tools.
- Participate in local events, trade shows, or partnerships to promote BukuWarung’s solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (1+ years) in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, preferably in fintech, banking, or EDC solutions.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and close deals.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Familiarity with Bali’s business landscape and local merchant networks is a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Bali (own vehicle/motorcycle is preferred).
- Proficiency in using CRM tools or sales tracking software.
- Basic understanding of digital payments, EDC machines, or financial technology.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (verbal and written).
