BukuWarung, a leading fintech company empowering micro and small businesses across Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Merchant Success Executive (EDC Sales Acquisition) to join our growing team in Bali. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our merchant network by acquiring new EDC (Electronic Data Capture) terminals and onboarding businesses to our digital financial ecosystem.
As part of our mission to digitize Indonesiaâs MSMEs, you will engage with local merchants, build strong relationships, and drive adoption of our innovative payment solutions. Responsibility
- Identify and acquire new merchants in Bali to adopt BukuWarungâs EDC payment solutions.
- Conduct field visits to engage with small and medium business owners, demonstrating the benefits of our digital tools.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for EDC terminal placements and merchant onboarding.
- Provide training and support to merchants on using BukuWarungâs platform and EDC systems.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, merchant data, and follow-ups in CRM tools.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local campaigns and promotions to drive merchant acquisition.
- Gather market feedback and insights to improve product offerings and sales strategies.
- Ensure high levels of merchant satisfaction through proactive relationship management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, preferably in fintech or payment solutions.
- Strong understanding of EDC terminals, digital payments, and financial technology.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client engagement.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Bali to meet merchants and attend events.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software is a plus.
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
