Responsibility
- Identify, engage, and onboard new merchants in Bali to use Buku Warung’s digital bookkeeping solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local business owners, understanding their needs and pain points.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly merchant acquisition targets through proactive outreach and field visits.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to ensure merchants maximize the platform’s benefits.
- Gather market feedback and insights to refine our merchant success strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local campaigns and promotions.
- Monitor merchant performance and provide support to improve adoption and retention.
- Maintain accurate records of merchant interactions and progress in CRM systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in FMCG sales, telecommunications, or merchant acquisition (minimum 1-2 years).
- Ownership of a motorbike (roda dua) and a valid SIM C license for field mobility.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English (preferred).
- Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with Bali’s local business landscape and merchant communities is a plus.
- Basic understanding of digital financial tools or bookkeeping software is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Bali to meet merchants on-site.
