Responsibility

  • Identify, engage, and onboard new merchants to expand Public Bank’s merchant network in Bali.
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to meet and exceed merchant acquisition targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Promote Public Bank’s payment solutions, including POS terminals, digital wallets, and other financial products.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights in the retail and consumer sectors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, and customer support) to streamline merchant onboarding and support processes.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, performance metrics, and market analysis to management.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in merchant services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with payment systems, merchant services, and digital banking solutions is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions as required.
